Solar energy system works with haacon spindle lifting element.
Tracked PV systems achieve higher energy yields, which are more evenly distributed over the irradiation period.
The drives employed are distinguished by their low internal consumption and extremely high reliability. The motor/spindle combination must have a self-locking design, so as to prevent it from being moved by the force of the wind. High tensile and compressive loads are experienced, but the required adjusting force is comparatively low, as the systems usually have statically balanced bearings. One essential component of the drive is the movement spindle. haacon has traditionally had great expertise in the manufacture of spindles. This helped the firm to successfully position itself as a supplier to the PV system industry. One particular strength of haacon is in customer-specific manufacturing. The connection to the solar panel mount is made in close collaboration with the customer.

In cooperation with Reis Solar Energy, haacon has recently developed new drives which are extremely easy to install, as they use a so-called Plug & Run controller in master/slave operation on the 230 V electricity grid. Reis provides the controller, haacon the mechanical components.
